NFL Sunday: February 3

No Friend Left-out

This Sunday, February 3^rd we will be having NFL Sunday. We are asking all our CLBC family to be here and to BRING A FRIEND (or 2). Those of us that know Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior understand that He has set us free from the bondage of sin. Because of His death and resurrection, we have LIFE! We have received the greatest gift that we could ever imagine. That gift is Jesus Christ. We want to invite our friends and family that do not know Him so that they can hear the good news about Him! Will you join us this Sunday and invite your friends to hear about Jesus? Remember, we want no friend to be left-out!

Chili Cook –Off: February 10

Following the AM Service

Okay chefs, it is time to cook the chili! We will have a friendly competition to determine the Chili Champion for 2008. It is easy to enter, just bring in a pot of your favorite chili. Our judges will determine the best overall. All proceeds from this event will go to our youth as they prepare to go to Student Life Camp in June. So come out and support our youth. Everyone is invited to stay and eat. Cost is $4 for adults and $2 for children. All the fixings will be provided!

RAH-RAH Banquet: February 12

11:00 AM

Our senior adults welcome Jim Dunham to CLBC. Jim is on staff at the Boot Western Art Museum in Carterville. He will be with us to share in all of his gun slinging glory! Ms. Linda will be cooking lunch. You will not want to miss this great time together. If you have not already done so, contact the church office to sign up.

Youth Valentine Banquet: February 13

7:00 PM

No regular Wednesday Night Dinner on this Night.

Chill Zone: February 17-18

Our Children’s Department will be attending Chill Zone ’08. Please see Abbie Dinning for more details.

Disciple Now Weekend: February 29- March 2

All youth, 6^th-12^th grade are invited to join with hundreds of students from across Douglas County as we Worship and study God’s Word. Cost is $35 which is due no later than February 10.
